¶ 1. This is an appeal from an order of the Vermont Labor Relations Board (the Board) requiring the Department of Public Safety (the Department) to produce summaries of certain Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) records concerning allegations of misconduct by state police officers. This order was made pursuant to a motion to compel discovery made by appellee Dennis Madore, who had appealed to the Board his dismissal from the position of state police lieutenant ordered by the Commissioner of the Department.
