NAUGHTON, Senior Judge:

A military judge sitting as a general court-martial at Fort Hood, Texas, convicted the appellant, contrary to his pleas, of willfully disobeying a noncommissioned officer, assaulting a noncommissioned officer in the execution of his office, and aggravated assault, in violation of Articles 91 and 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 891 and 928 (1988) [hereinafter UCMJ].
