OPINION OF THE COURT
ROSENN, Circuit Judge.
This is an appeal by the defendant, Perch Hankin, from a judgment of the District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania finding him guilty of violating the Federal Election Campaign Act, 18 U.S.C. § 614 (1970 Supp. V).1 The statute provided in pertinent part:(a) No person shall make a contribution [to a candidate for federal office] in the name of another person .(b) Any person who violates this section shall be fined not more than $25,000 or imprisoned not more than one year or both.
