These are appeals by the defendants in two separate indictments on a charge of fraudulent conversion in one count, and a charge of malicious conspiracy to cheat and defraud in a second count. At the trial, by agreement of counsel of both sides, the cases were tried together, and the jury found both defendants guilty as indicted. Defendants filed a motion for new trial, and in arrest of judgment.
