Defendant was convicted by a jury of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, MCL 750.520b; MSA 28.788(2), and sentenced to a prison term of from 10 to 50 years. He now appeals as of right.
The victim was a six-year-old girl who was cared for at a day care center operated by defendant’s mother. Upon arriving home from the day care center on October 24, 1983, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim went straight to the kitchen and burst into tears.
