Following a jury trial, Anthony Ellis was convicted of aggravated assault (OCGA § 16-5-21 (a) (2)), aggravated sodomy (OCGA § 16-6-2 (a) (2)), rape (OCGA § 16-6-1 (a) (1)), and false imprisonment (OCGA § 16-5-41 (a)). The trial court denied Ellis’s motion for new trial, as amended.
