This is an action under sections 205(g) and 1631(c)(3) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 405(g), 1383(c)(3). The plaintiff, Edith Bazile (“Bazile”), seeks judicial review of a final decision, dated February 23, 2000, of Kenneth S. Apfel, the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“the Commissioner”) denying her applications for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.
