This is an appeal from a decision overruling a demurrer to the petition of plaintiff, the demurrer being on the ground that the petition did not state a cause of action against defendant, and that if any cause of action ever existed against defendant it was barred by the statute of limitations.

The averments of the petition are, in substance, that on May 19, 1921, defendant A. E. Lindholm executed a promissory note payable to the Peoples State Bank on September 1, 1921, with interest at eight per cent per annum, and that when it was due…
