Defendants appeal from an order of the municipal court of Minneapolis denying their alternative motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or for a new trial. At the trial plaintiff’s and defendants’ versions of the facts were in conflict, but the verdict in plaintiff’s favor resolves the conflict and we must accept the facts as she stated them.

Plaintiff was a single woman, 75 years of age. In June 1954 she purchased an apartment building and during the following year made improvements on it. In March 1955 she decided to sell her property. Her intentipn was to secure…
