STEWART, Justice:

¶ 1 Plaintiff Rulon J. Harper seeks reversal of a summary judgment against him and in favor of Great Salt Lake Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America (“BSA”), Mt. Jordan Ltd., and Geneva Rock Products, Inc. The trial court ruled that Harper’s offer to purchase property BSA owned was subject to a right of first refusal in Mt. Jordan and that Mt. Jordan’s exercise of that right terminated any interest Harper had in the subject property.
