On the 14th of September, 1885, Orloff Lake became the adjudicatee of the following-described property, viz : “Twenty-six (26) certain lots of ground in the Sixth District of the city of New Orleans, in the square bounded by Tchoupitoulas, Jersey, Valmont and Leontine streets, designated as lots numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, *14311, 12, 13,14,15,16,17,18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26, and (which) “ form and comprise square No. 127.
