OPINION

BUSSEY, Judge:

Appellant, Francis Sonnier, hereinafter referred to as the defendant, was convicted of Robbery With Firearms — 21 O.S.Supp. 1978, § 801 — in the District Court, Muskogee County, Case No. CRF-77-70. The *773State proved that he had a prior felony conviction, and his punishment was enhanced in accordance with 21 O.S.Supp. 1978, § 51. The sentence was set by the jury at seventy-five (75) years’ imprisonment.
