Banta v. Clarke County

On July 5, 1929, Clarke county, Iowa, duly and legally issued and sold primary county road bonds in the total sum of $269,000, in denominations of $1,000 each, hearing 5 per cent interest, maturing in numerical order at the rate of $25,000 on May 1st of each of the years beginning May 1, 1935, to and including May 1, 1943, and $44,000 maturing on May 1, 1944. The defendants will have sufficient money on hand to pay the interest due upon all the bonds on May 1, 1935, and also the principal of the $25,000 series maturing May 1, 1935.
