This is a claim for damage as a result of the permanent appropriation of land hy the State of New York, pursuant to section 30 of the Highway Law. Claimant owned a parcel of land located at Alder Creek Corners in the town of Boonville, Oneida County, New York. The property has been improved by the erection of a two-story building which is now used as a tavern. The land faced on State highway Route 28 and extended along that highway a distance of some 600 feet, with a depth of approximately 100 feet.
