The petitioner and the guardian differ as to the effect to be given to the words “it is my desire” contained in item (d) of the will. The petitioner seems to contend that by these words the item confers on her the absolute right, which the guardian is bound to recognize to the full, to continue as housekeeper and as such to do precisely as she did during the testator’s life. The guardian seems to contend that these words express a mere wish of the testator, impose no obligation upon him, and do not at all limit his powers as guardian; that the words are to be construed as like expressions…
