— This is an action for damages on account of serious personal injuries received by *240plaintiff by reason of alleged negligence on the part of defendant in furnishing a defective car which plaintiff was required to handle.
The petition charges and the evidence shows, that the main line of defendant’s road, between St. Louis and Kansas City, passes through the town of Warrens-burg, in Johnson county.
