Defendant Mohammed Daifullah Abdo, arrested and charged with assault with intent to commit murder, MCLA 750.83; MSA 28.278, was found guilty at a bench trial of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder, MCLA 750.84; MSA 28.279, and sentenced to a prison term of two and one-half to ten years. He brings the present appeal raising several issues, of which two involve the extensive testimony presented to the trial court.
