MEMORANDUM
DUBOIS, District Judge.
I. INTRODUCTION
This lawsuit involves the rights to the song “Disco Inferno” (hereinafter “the Composition”). Plaintiff, a limited liability company engaged in music publishing, filed suit seeking a declaratory judgment that, under the provisions of an assignment made in 1977, it is the exclusive owner of all rights in the Composition, including the Composition’s renewal rights.
