This appeal arises from the bankruptcy court’s refusal to give preclusive effect to findings made by the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal. Appellant Roy A. Raspanti brought an adversary proceeding against Appellee Robert Burke Keaty, Sr. in bankruptcy court seeking a determination that a state court judgment against Keaty was not dischargeable under § 523(a)(6) of the Bankruptcy Code.
