Certified Questions from Circuit Court, Kanawha County. Suit for specific performance by A. C. Lawrence and others • against the Montgomery Gas Company and others. From an order entered on plaintiff’s motion appointing a receiver to take charge of and operate an oil well situated on the lot in controversy and to make proper accounting defendants appeal, and, pending the appeal, the plaintiffs’ exceptions to the answers of the Montgomery Gas Company were overruled, and certain questions or propositions of law were certified.

This is a suit for specific performance of a contract for the sale and purchase of a lot of land valuable for oil and gas. The case as now presented has two, hut not wholly independent branches.
