MEMORANDUM OPINION
CAHN, District Judge.
FACTS
On December 26, 1985, plaintiff, Jose Vasquez, slipped and fell from an overhead crane at his place of employment, Birdsboro Corporation, and suffered various physical injuries. Vasquez and his wife, Maria, later brought this diversity action against Whiting Corporation (“Whiting”), the successor-in-interest to the manufacturer of the crane. Plaintiffs base their suit upon theories of negligence, strict liability, and breach of warranty.
