Donald Chube filed this action seeking damages against his former employer, Exxon Chemical Americas (Exxon), for an alleged wrongful termination of his employment. In addition, the plaintiff is seeking damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, and violation of the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681, et seq., which he contends also arose out of the wrongful termination.
