FLETCHER, Judge:

Contrary to his pleas, appellant,1 Private Villines, was convicted of conspiring with Private Holodinski and Private Crone to steal the motorcycle of Corporal Hunnel, in violation of Article 81, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 881. He was also found guilty, contrary to his pleas, of stealing this same motorcycle, in violation of Article 121, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 921. For these offenses inter alia,2 he was sentenced by members at his special court-martial to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for 3 months, and reduction to the grade El-1. This…
