This 'vs as an action by the Hartford Eire Insurance Company, a corporation, against J. B. Brown to recover the unpaid portion of th^ premium alleged toi be due on a certain insurance policy. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the court below.

On December 17, 1912, the] plaintiff executed and delivered to the defendant a certain fire and tornado insurance policy for a term of five years.
