OPINION OF THE COURT

MITCHELL, Senior Judge:

Appellant was convicted by members at his general court-martial of rape, in violation of Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 920 (1976). He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge,'confinement at hard labor for three years, total forfeitures, and reduction to Private E-l.
