Leave to appeal has been granted in this workers’ compensation case involving three separate but consolidated claims of appeal. The appellants are former employers of plaintiffs deceased husband as well as those employers’ workers’ compensation carriers. Appellants appeal from an order of the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (WCAB) reversing a referee’s April 5, 1979, order, in which he found that the deceased did not sustain a work-related injury or disability and that his death was the result of an ordinary disease of life rather than an occupational disease.
