Lonnie R. Gaddis appeals the denial of his Rule 24.035 motion for post-conviction relief. Mr. Gaddis pled guilty to the class A felony of assault in the first degree, section 565.050, RSMo 2000, 1 and the class A felony of armed criminal action, section 571.015, and was sentenced to concurrent terms of twenty-five and fifteen years, respectively. He subsequently filed a post-conviction motion claiming that he received ineffective assistance of counsel and his conviction should be vacated. The motion was denied without an evidentiary hearing.
