The Montana Attorney General petitioned for a writ of supervisory control requesting immediate review of a writ of mandamus issued by the First Judicial District Court, Lewis and Clark County. The District Court ordered the Secretary of State to accept filings for election to a Montana Supreme Court position and two district court positions with terms that will expire at the end of this year.
