On June 21, 1938, at the instance of plaintiffs and intervenors, as holders and owners of $122,000 of unpaid tax warrants of the Board of Education of the City of Chicago, the circuit court of Cook county entered an order directing a temporary injunction to issue, restraining one group of respondents from seeking to enforce two money decrees, totalling $6,477,214.65, theretofore entered by the circuit court of Cook county against the Board of Education in two separate actions in favor of 286 plaintiff-holders (including 82 of the…
