Fundamentally, this is an employment contract case. It is concerned with the period of employee’s term of employment.

However, the lawsuit more importantly, involves an interpretation of “tenure,”1 as that term is used in em*228ployment contracts of professors with colleges and universities. But, with more particularity, the cause also involves the retirement of a tenured professor because of age.
