Mrs. Lizzie Gooding instituted this suit, Ho. 6114, in the District Court of Lamar County, Texas, by filing her original petition, Hovember 14, 1895. This suit was based upon policy Ho. 59,600 for $2000, issued by the Washington Life Insurance Company in favor of the plaintiff upon the life of Theodore R. Gooding, her husband, dated May 12; 1888.
