Affirming.

The appellant killed Chester Barber by stabbing him with an ordinary pocketknife. He was indicted for murder and convicted of manslaughter, and his punishment fixed at twenty-one years’ confinement in the penitentiary. Appellant and Barber had been good friends. They had been together on the day of the killing, had been drinking together, and a part of the time they were associated with Gus Lewis and Tom Shover.
