This is an appeal, granted under a certificate of importance, from a judgment of the Appellate Court for the First District affirming a judgment for $956.73 and costs of suit, rendered by the superior court of Cook county in an action of assumpsit brought by the London Guarantee and Accident Company, appellee, against the American Cereal Company, appellant, to recover the amount expended by appellee in the defense of a suit brought in the district court of Linn county, Iowa, by Henry Overhauser, as administrator of the estate of William L.…
