These consolidated appeals are from the decisions of the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) Board of Appeals (the Board) sustaining the examiner’s rejection of claims 2-11, 13-28, 35-42, 49-58, 60-62, 64-74, and 77-79 in patent application Serial No. 450,266 as unpatentable for obviousness under 35 U.S.C. § 103; and the rejection of claims 1, 3-11, 16, 18, 19 and 21-28 in Serial No. 036,615 as unpatentable under 35 U.S.C. §§ 103 and 112.
