Plaintiff in error, Logan Parks, was-convicted in the district court of Hughes county on an information charging that he did assault with intent to kill, one Walter Taylor -by shooting him withj a shotgun, and. his punishment was fixed at imprisonment in the penitentiary for a term of two years. From the judgment rendered on the verdict he appealed by filing in this .court on April 12, 1919, a petition in error with case-made.
