Cherokee Tobacco & Candy Company (Cherokee) appeals from a judgment of the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis affirming a decision of the Civil Rights Enforcement Agency of the City of St. Louis that Cherokee had violated the sex discrimination provisions of the City of St. Louis Ordinance No. 57173 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The action, instituted by Debra Ulatoski, was based upon Cherokee’s alleged failure to hire her due to her sex.
