In this defamation action, plaintiffs appeal as of right an order granting summary disposition to defendant pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(10). We reverse and remand.

A. THE EVENTS OF MAY 22-MAY 23, 1995

On the night of May 22, 1995, plaintiff Bonita Hawkins, a nurse, was working in the intensive care unit of Cadillac Mercy Hospital, which is operated by defendant Mercy Health Services, Inc.
