Brown, C.J. —
Bart Bramme pleaded guilty to one count of manufacturing methamphetamine. The sentencing court declined to impose a Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative (DOSA) sentence. In doing so, the sentencing court reasoned (1) the quantity of drugs involved in the offense was not small for purposes of DOSA, and (2) DOSA was not administered as the legislature intended to ensure qualified *846offenders received needed treatment. Mr. Bramme appeals contending the sentencing court violated the separation of powers doctrine. We affirm on the basis of the drug quantity alone and therefore decline…
