This is an action to recover in damages for the value of a cow of defendant in error, killed by the passenger train *260of plaintiff in error, at Lama station, about sixteen miles west of Grand Junction.

Loma is-an unincorporated town with two stores, blacksmith shop, a canning factory, and a few dwellings. It is a railroad station, with a side track or tracks, switches, etc. The railroad station appears to be a flag station, but having a depot and depot grounds. The train was a passenger train which was not scheduled to stop at Loma, and was running at a speed of from thirty to thirty-five miles…
