Appellants Ted and Mary Roberts (the Robertses) and the Law Offices of Ted H. Roberts, P.C. appeal the order of the trial court unsealing the entire record of the underlying lawsuit. Following an initial hearing, certain disputed documents (the 202 documents) were sealed pursuant to a protective order. After a second hearing, the trial court sua sponte sealed the entire court record. Subsequently, the trial court held the record had been improperly sealed without following the notice and hearing required by Rule 76a of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure…
