Defendants appeal from a judgment entered upon a jury’s verdict, awarding damages for injuries received in an automobile accident. Plaintiff, a nurse -stationed at San Diego Navy Hospital, drove to Indio, accompanied by two other nurses, Misses Pipher and Leopold, for the purpose of meeting there Dr. and Mrs. Scholz, appellants in this case. Next morning the entire party breakfasted together at the Indio Hotel and then started for Palm Springs, about twenty miles to the west.
