Defendants-appellants Calvin Macklin, Jr. (“Macklin”) and Arthur Garfield Swain (“Swain”) appeal from judgments of conviction entered in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, Richard J. Arcara, Judge, after a jury convicted them of conspiring to manufacture a substance containing phencycli-dine (“PCP”) 1 in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (1988).
