Yvette Carson, Lemuel Mont and Kenneth Thomas appeal from judgments of conviction entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York after a four-week jury trial before Honorable Charles L. Brieant, Judge.
The fifteen-count indictment charged Carson, Mont, Thomas and sixteen co-defendants with violations of the federal narcotics laws. Count I charged all defendants with conspiracy to distribute heroin and to possess it with intent to distribute from June 1980 until October 1981, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (1976). 1 The remaining…
