The parol-evidence rule and the law-of-the-case doctrine are at issue on this appeal. The defendants, Radiologic Leasing Associates, Steven P. Burns, William F. Coscina, Anthony G. Bruzzese, James Os-manski and M. Julie Armada, appeal from a partial grant of summary judgment in favor of the plaintiff, medical doctor Landy Paolella. A Superior Court motion justice granted summary judgment solely on the issue of liability, leaving assessment of damages for a later date.
