This family feud involves the sad but all too familiar story of a family united solely by its eldest member during his life and then fiercely divided after his death. 1 The plaintiffs, Peter Filippi (Peter), Carolyn Filippi Cholewinski (Carolyn) and Paula Consagra (Paula) (collectively referred to as plaintiffs), are decedent Paul Filippi’s (Paul or decedent) three adult children from his first marriage.
