OPINION

ROGERS, Circuit Judge.

The defendants in this interlocutory appeal ask us to review the district court’s nonfinal order denying them, among other things, the defense of absolute witness and advocacy immunity in an action concerning unfair debt-collection practices. The preliminary issue in this case is whether this court has appellate jurisdiction to entertain the defendants’ interlocutory appeal under the collateral order doctrine.
