Kevin Deneal Cobbs pleaded guilty to several offenses involving unauthorized access devices. In this appeal, Cobbs challenges the district court’s order directing him to pay restitution. For the reasons stated below, we vacate and remand.
I.BACKGROUND
In January 1990 a federal grand jury in the Northern District of Georgia returned a nineteen count indictment against Cobbs. Count I charged Cobbs with attempting to fraudulently obtain money through the unauthorized use of an access device in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1029(a)(2) and (b)(1).
