CIRILLO, Judge:

This is an appeal from a judgment entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County awarding appellee Joseph Collincini $100,000.00 in compensatory damages and $400,000.00 in punitive damages from appellant Honeywell, Inc. We affirm.

Appellee Collincini worked for appellant Honeywell, Inc. (“Honeywell”) in the Industrial Services Division in Pittsburgh from 1972 until he was discharged in 1986. Six weeks after separating from Honeywell, Collincini began working in the Pittsburgh area for American Technical Services, Inc. (“ATS”), a minor competitor of Honeywell’s. Part of…
