This appeal is from, inter alia, the grant of summary judgment dismissing the complaint of Agnes Martin, a renowned American artist, now 85 years of age, who seeks to recover possession of more than two dozen of her paintings from defendants Gwen Luce Briggs and Jean Davis, successors in possession to their mother, who took sole possession of the paintings on the death of her husband, an original bailee.
