This is an appeal filed by Dr. Tawoos Bazargani (Employee) challenging the State Civil Service Commission’s (Commission) order dismissing Employee’s appeal of her removal from her position as a regular staff psychiatrist at Haverford State Hospital, Department of Public Welfare (Appointing Authority). The Commission concluded that the Appointing Authority established just cause to remove Employee, pursuant to Section 807 of the Civil Service Act, 1 for her failure to follow hospital policy regarding the administration and monitoring of Lithium prescribed to her assigned patients.…
